If there was a strategy guide, does anyone know where to find it? I've searched eBay, Amazon, and others. No luck.

I can not say with 100% certainty, but I do not believe there was. The first strategy guide I remember seeing was for Part 6 USA.

Well, actually, there was a "pseudo" strategy guide for Final Fantasy I. It was 1990 Nintendo Power Magazine - Strategy Guide. (Issue 3 Volume 17)

So, surely Nintendo must have published a strategy guide, right?

Hmm...

Well what I remember from playing it back then, Nintendo power etc was about all you had. There was also a number in the instruction manual you could call for assisstance - a gaming hotline.

I'm almost positive there was, but good luck finding it, and if you do find it, good luck getting it for under $100.
