Well, I haven't killed that dragon already, 'cause he starts (after a time) using Globes 199 (or whatever). Very dificult. I've defeated the Lunar Summons and Zreromus EG easily (Cecil lvl 40, the rest at 35) and this guy keeps killing me (Cecil lvl 99, the rest at 65)

P.S.: i know that between 99 and 65 there's a great "break" but I killed 4 party members (it had to be me, monsters are weak) and started training Cecil.

the monster was branchiaraidos, and he is a piece of cake hahaha i owned EVERYONE on the game. its was 1+1. wel, i trained a lot. i was level 89, so it wasn't just my skill.
when i first met him, though, he was hard. what to wear: addy armor. rest is ribbon. hero shield, if any. it absorbs glare, and you get healed by 9999 hp, and so is the rest of the attacks. nah, get the right armor and he is a piece of cake.

Yeah, the right armor... and the question is where to get it?
And I'm still lucky that it doesn't use reflect or Cecil would deal +/-4000 to himself

I beat him
You get the hero's shield after beating him so if your fighting him for the first time that's not very helpful.

I used: Cecil, Rydia, Palom,Rosa and Edward. I recommend having Edward with Apollo's harp (it's good against dragons). Sometimes I did 9000 damage just with a regular attack with Edward. At the start of the battle he uses an instant kill attack, make sure this is NOT on your healer, if it is then start again. Cast slow on him throughout the battle (it works) and ALWAYS attack him when he is counting down. Use powerful attacks like meteor and flare but never use the grimoires (he curagas himself if you do).Keep full lifeing and healing too. Higher levels are always better, my characters were lvl.86 and above. He is still just as hard though. Good luck!

Also, Ragnarok is more powerful than Excalibur.

well, train on flan princess after beating zeromus, and until you are decent level. im level 99 all now ^^ (dangit, rydia was so hard to level up)
dont use sirens and use the bug, and youll get at least 1 addy armor (and eqeuipt it on your best attacker (unless its a warrior)
if a monster uses reflect, just use that big axe thingy from moon village.
theres a cheap way to kill him...use abels lance and tornado him by chance. but thats by chance, and its super cheap
also, if you are totally lost, use all of your grimores. they should do lots of damage.
also, rosa heal = evrey turn
and if rosa die =heal 1st priority
after beating him once, it gets easier and easier.
btw, try to have dragoon plate on kain instead of addy armor. its not as good, but resist just like addy armor, and you can give addy armor to like rydia and rosa.
hes not that hard guys....really...training on pink pufs really makes differance.
