DS Remake? - Page 3

Yeah I'll probably just get an import as well.
This game looks awsome and I can't wait to get it!

I seriusly hope its like Final Fantasy 9. Thats what I wanted FF3 to be like;But It felt so stiff. The soundtrack will be better than it was on the GBA Thats for sure. But the flow of the animation in battle, hopefully, sould run more fluid-like than it did in FF3.

I'm sure it will bevcause although FFIII was on the DS, it still had to keep aspects of the game the same and that would include the battle system. FFIV was the first FF to introduce the ATB so I'm pretty sure the battle system will be more flowing than that of FFIII.

NO WHY DOES NINTEDO HANLDE FF GAMES ITS GAY!!!!!!!!!! they will never replace the origanal this is my fav FF game

I already heard about this on the other Final Fantasy forum I visit and think it looks pretty neat. I never got to complete the original version so maybe I will be able to finish this one instead. I am very glad that I decided to get a DS, I would have missed out on all of these awesome games. I saw a screen shot for it and have to admit, it looks really good so far. I am very much looking forward to playing it, I hope it's a good remake. I know what some are like though.

Nintendo handles the FF games because they started on the NES...and so FF will always remain on Nintendo systems. And I think remaking the original NES/SNES FF games to a DS is a great idea. The graphics back then on those systems are about the same as what the DS can do and the DS can actually probably make them look better. So it's not "gay" it's just a way to play the games without having to sit in your room alone.

Now when they start remaking FF7-9 on the DS or any other handheld that can't reproduce the same graphics then i'll be pissed.

All in all, good idea Square.

Exactly.

If they remake the games up until VI; I'll be happy. These are the "old school" games so I'm terribly happy they'll be receiving a face lift. While I know aesthetics don't necessarily make a good game; I really would like to play an updated Final Fantasy IV. I remember playing the game a few years ago and couldn't get into it because FFVII and VIII at the time had spoiled me with the "pretty" graphics.

I think this is good news for the series and title itself.

FF7-9 will not be Remade, Ever.
Besides if they did they wouldn't be on the DS, Nintendo owns the license for FF1-FF6 which is why they are on the DS.

I can't see FF7-9 being remade, they are just too new and since FF7 brought alot of people into the series more people have played FF7 and up.

Apart from FFIII, the rest yet managed to reach the PlayStation.

Anyway, I don't see any of the games after FFVII being remade. FFVII remains a possibility as it is in high demand but I doubt the others would. Also, I doubt if FFVII is remade, it wouldn't be on a handheld since most people that won't it released want über graphics and the DS and PSP will not leave those satisfied.
