I didn't see any topic here about characters in this game.. so do you have any favorite characters?

mine is Firion and Minwu.. Firion because I like the character design a lot in the rerelease. It's really one of my favorites from Amano's works and it'd be great if ever he'll appear in dissidia FF. And then Minwu because I like his role especially in Soul of Rebirth(after you beat the main game). We don't see male white mages always do we? I think he's one of the most developed character in this game.

I really liked Layla. She was a truly strong female character, which is totally rare in Final Fantasies and Japanese media in general (I totally do not buy Yuna nor Rinoa as strong characters, btw). Like in FFXII, people were complaining about Ashe being a bitch - I was just glad that we finally had a girl with some backbone. I do not feel attracted to or empathetic to simpering female leads.

I did like Ricard as well and was glad to see him return in Soul of Rebirth, although the Soul of Rebirth after-game totally disappointed me by only minimally tying up loose ends, as well as including the two dungeons I most loathed from the original.
