Hey I want to buy all the Final Fantasy games and I read that the American release of Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II) was severly censored with any references to death being cut and a porno magazine scene being removed, now this sounds like gold to me and was wandering if anybody knew which is less censored out of the GBA or PSX versions of the game, I don't own an SNES so it's a toss up between the two. Which woould you guys reccomend?

I own a GBA and quite frankly they censored most of it. In fact the death of Edward's parents was very unrealistic.

Dunno about the magazine though.

I think the PSX version is based off the 'Hard Type' version of the game and thus isn't censored to the extreme of the US SNES and GBA versions. However its been ages since I actually played that version so I could be wrong.

The porno mag isn't all great btw.

Heh, okay. I reckon i'll go for the playstation version then, I can't stand censoring in games. It's a shame because the GBA version will be easier to play like on the go but is the juice worth the squeeze?

The GBA has a little extra to do, better (but dumbed down) translation and improved graphics yet is also ALOT easier in difficulty. Do the PS version and then get the GBA version for the added stuff is probs the way to go.

Sounds like a plan. I'm probably going to end up buying them all twice to try and get the full experience with the added stuff
