Job lvls vs Character lvls

my characters are around lvls 44-45, and the job lvls are as followed:
Dragoon 68
Viking 39
Thief 57
White mage 67
1) my question is in the stats, while other jobs increase 2-3 different stats (the green stats in status), the dragoon increase all 5 of them. why is that ?
2)what exactly the job lvls do to you ? vesus the character's lvl ?
3)So whenever the jobs lvl increase, the stats increases? Or the character lvl makes the stats increases

Thanx everyone !!

1) Stats also go up depending on your equipment. It's likely you have a special weapon or armor equpped that rasies a stat.

2) Job Levels increase your familiarity with the job. For Melle jobs, such as the Knight and Black Belt, it will increase how many times you attack the enemy, the maximum of which I believe is 32 hits. For Magic classes, it will decrease the time required to cast spells, as well as enhance the effects of the spells, so as you White Mage advances in job level, the amount it heals with a spell like Cura will increase, and the time taken to cast it in one turn will decrease as well. The Character's level increases solely to increase your stats. But, getting Job Levels wil help you deal more damage.

3) Only the Character level causes stats to increase...but I would say Job levels are nearly as important, as they do what I stated above.

Hope that helps.

i dont think job lvl make u cast things faster, i think that depends on agility. however i do know that the higher the job lvl for a magic class the more spells u can cast i.e. lvl 1: 2 casts --> lvl job --> lvl 1: 3 casts. but thats jsut what i think
