Where did you train?
I'm currently wandering around in the Crystal Tower & wondering where everyone else trained & if theres anywhere better?

EUREKA it pays out bigger exp for weaker monstersa two enemy party is better than a pallette swap boss for exp

What I do is I get in a battle with some of those monsters that summon Kum Kums. I kill one of them and keep killing the Kum Kums it summons (DK hits for 9999) and keep the cycle going... if it doesn't summon one turn just guard. Afterwards the battle usually pays out 16k EXP upwards.

Also, bahamut's cave has pretty easy monsters for a ton of exp and gil.

It's still driving me up the wall - I managed to get to the final boss only to get my butt kicked after 2 hours of mooching through the crystal tower and world of darkness...
Looks like I'l be spending alot more time training

Did you get the ribbons from the Xande clones in the world of dark? Without them, you'll have your ass handed to you period.

Yeah I got them, but I still got had off on the Dark Cloud and I was level 56 which I thought was more than enough but I guess my job levels are not high enough >_>

It's the same story for some of us, E.g. first try i K.O.ed xande in 3 turns then got my butt handed to me in 2 by the cloud thanks to that damned lightning spell

I trained on Blucks(Dudes that summon KumKums)
I was level 45,45,46,46 when I entered and level 48,48,49,49 by the time I was facing it(2nd time) got my ass kicked of course I probably hit around 39k damage to it altogether.
