The only reason I can think of for not making a FF III version on PlayStation is because there was no WonderSwan version to copy graphics and design from, and so FF III was taken off the pipeline.

By the way, a vote thread sounds like a great idea to me! It may not change Square's mind, but maybe they might get an original version put out on PSP.

hmmm sounds like a good idea or even the wii lol
psp would be cool but of course on a small screen
If it were to release on psp it wouldn't be too bad cause it has a bigger screen than ds

i have FF3 rom converted from nes to psx

and it's working.

The thing is I don't want to buy a DS just to play FF3, if it would be released on the playstation, or maybe even on the xbox it would sell to many more people because many people have a PS/2 or xbox

I like FFIII a whole lot, and I don't mind playing it on the 'tiny' ds screen at all. In fact any more I have a problem playing the older FF's on a big screen xD I just traded in my PS versions of V & VI for the gba versions of both. I'll do the same thing eventually with the PS verisons of 1 & 2.

And even though FFIII is fun to play, there's not really a lot of 'meat' to the story, or enough to do IMO, for it to put out for the PS2.

They are probably using FFIII right now to sell DS's. So it probably won't come to the PS for a while if at all.
