statues on surface world

I am just wondering if any has seen the statues on the surface world.

There are a narrow parthway on the continent, with 2 statues that stand between your path. There are many sets of statues guarding the path.

When I approach them, two sets of statues disappear, but when I try to walk through the next set of statues, I see a red flash, and my entire party gets killed.

So I was just wondering how I get past the statues, and what is beyond?

Don't bother with them yet. Continue with the storyline and you will eventually be able to move past them.

yer u need to collect the 4 Fangs before you even go near them or u die a horrible death instantly

Aye, I made the mistake of walking past through those aswel. Repeatedly. Not important til the end of the game petal, so just avoid them like the plague until the plot sends you that way
