Save Points
This is ABout FFIII for DS. Well what really annoys me is they have no save points. Oh Jesus. WHat were they thinking. Oh wait, I know. I read somewhere that they thought they would make the game easy. Uh, no. It wouldn't matter, they should be an automatic thing.

I thought it would be bad, too, but it hasn't troubled me that much so far. I mean, sure, it's irritating to do the same dungeon more than once if your party dies at the boss, but that just inspires me to train to higher levels.

I had no problem with it at all. Jsut power level your fighters for 30-60 minutes before each dungeon and you shouldn't run into any difficulty. And you never are in an area that long anyway that you would need one, except in the final castle, but even then I would jsut transport outside, save, go back in and level up more.

You gotta remember, it is an NES game. And I can't think of any NES games that had save points in their dungeons, if you even could save. They're probably out there though. I'm pretty sure the original I did not have save points in their dungeons. You gotta save on the world map.
And as for making it easy, I think this one is the hardest of them all. NES games were hard though. I'm stuck at a boss right now and I've been leveling up my characters. They still keep getting killed off pretty quickly and my healer is always the first to die.

Well I beat the game and I nearlly dies at the final boss and if I had I would have been really irratated. That would have been 3 hours of work lost. And after you beat the game there is like no secret dungeon unless you do the wifi thing. But it was a pretty decent game. Although I was hoping for an ending movie.

It can be annoying when you get killed in boss battle and have to plow through it again. But as was mentioned before, it does make me go and gain afew levels. But yes it can be annoying.

There weren't any save points in the original. So why'd they keep it same? Why not just throw in save points? Because then Sqaure'd have about 10 million retarded fanboys whining and bitching about, "What the hell?? Why'd you change the dungeons with save points? Waa!!"
But I found a solution to this problem, the Action Replay DS has FFIII on it. One of the codes (the only one I use) is the Save Anywhere code. It rocks hard.

Yeah but not all of us have an Action Replay DS. And those save anywhere codes often come with problems.

True. I was lucky to get mine for Christmas. Maybe if you have some extra cash laying around.
All they really do that isn't good, is glitch the screen a bit. Like since your not supposed to be able to save in a dungeon, the save screen is missing a few border lines, and some of the text is overlaping some of the remaining border lines.
Its not a must, but its kinda nice to be able to do a real save in a dungeon, espeacially if you're in the World of Darkness, as most players are underleved their first time and end up losing, and losing all the progress they made.
