He shouldn't be too hard. I murdered him (meaning I thoroughly beat the crap out of him) at level 40 for each of my characters.
But, if you haven't gotten there yet, you'll need the Enterprise, for which, you'll need Unei to take you to a dungeon in the mountains near Saronia. Just get through the dungeon and you'll have it. Then go back to the lake where Leviathan is and use Overdrive to get over the low mountains. Just hop out on the small areas of land on the side, and then use your canoe to swim to the big fish. Afterwards, just go through the dungeon...but there are some really nice weapons, so make sure to explore.

dont you mean the invincible i dont think the enterprise goes over mountains
