*me i beat final fantasy 1 for the fourth time by trying different party members, my first party consist of two fighters and two red mages,i know its a powerhouse and a balance of magic,but its a really good party.while the fighters pound enemies and kill em with one hit the mages can support by attacking or casting spells red mage attacks are fairly good i use em to finish off weak opponents

*I also beat the game with a party of one of each class a fighter,a black mage a black belt and a red mage.at early levels this party is not that powerful but
about 30 and above the power of fighter and black belt are incredible.i finish groups of opponents with black magic and heal with the red mage spells.at the second time around this game was not that difficult because i know where to go and what to do i had lots of fun

*im thinking about playing it again with the classes that i havent used yet,what do you guys think?

Put me down for a big, fat zero. I have not played the original Final Fantasy, nor do I ever plan to.

I've played it for about 30 mins then got bored of the old nintendo grpahics.

Ive beaten the game twice. Using the same party. I first played it on the GBA then the PSP. I have gotten pretty far into a nex game but have never finished one. I would definately try it again sometime i like all old final fantasies.

*whoa really!? why not try a different party to challenge yourself i know the mages are a bit weak but in time as their level increase theyll be strong casting spells

I havn't actually beat FF1 yet but I really want to! How long is the game anyway? How many hours do you say need invested in it?

I've finished it about five or six times on the DoS version. Tried out a few different parties. It starts to get really repetitive after a while

*hmmm i think i spent about 60 hours to finish my first try of the game,but then i got used to the puzzles and i got to know the battle strategies against certain monsters it took me about 30-40 hours at the minimum

*i think i spent a total of over a hundred hours finishing the game over and over again
