the best version is the orginal version on the nes btu the one for the GBA is ok to

Considering the fact that my NES no longer works and hasn't for a long time, I'd have to go with the GBA version simply because I can at least still play the game on it.

I have the roms for the NES and GBA versions, and after playing the GBA version the NES version became completely unplayable for me, so it's much better on GBA imo.

I never played the Original NES version... I only played the GBA version and I say it was pretty good IMO

The GBA version is miles better - not only does it have proper magic names its portable

The best version, at least in my opinion, is the PSP version. It has both the gameplay and additional content of the GBA version and the soundtrack of the Origins version, plus high-resolution graphics, and it is portable. I do not like chip music. The original version has outdated gameplay that is inconsistent with the modern Final Fantasy games, and has poor English translation. The PSP version is the only version of the game I have played in legal form. I played the previous versions through emulation.
