I've been wondering about that for awhile, and I think the link below can clear up a few things. I personally think that statements mean nothing unless you can provide proof to back it up, even the statements from the creators. They say Sephy's a god, huzzah! Now, prove it.

Storyline-wise, Ruby WEAPON doesn't do anything (And neither does Emerald by the way). And using game mechanics is a terrible way to see who wins in a fight with some exceptions.

well ive only completed VII, VIII, X, and X-2 so dont know them all but for the strongest characters im going to say Cloud (VII), Squall (VIII), Auron (X), n den ders only 3 to choose from in X-2 n its got to be Paine, but overall i would say Auron would win, from experience he beats them all, hes a really strong character that has great weapons (i admit Squall has gr8 gunblades n tidus' brotherhood is awesome) but he would obviosly win!

It has to be Sephiroth, he is just so awesomely amazing.
Plus he has the Masamune, a 6ft long masamune

And exactly what will it do to Zeromus? Last time I checked, Sephy lacked an plot device crystal, which only be used by people pure of heart (Or something similar to that). So if even he killed Cecil and stole the crystal, it wouldn't do jack shit against Zeromus.

Can you please stop doing that? You are allways posting links to CBR, like what they say is the absolute truth, and they can allways "clear up" everything to us, poor and ignorant mortals. But contrary to what you believe, their opinion is not a fact.

And to say the truth, their knowledge about FF series in general is very poor. They only know about the games released in USA. No one of them read the UOGs or interview with the creators. Hell, some people in that link you posted, didn't even know about the Scan in Ultimecia.

So please, stop posting links to that forum like they have the answers to all our questions. They haven't.


And about your opinion of "providing proof"... This is their(the creators) story. They decide what is and what isn't. They decide what the characters can and can't do. Their word is the law. If the creators state that a character(created by them, of course) can do something, is because he/she/it can do it. You have just to accept it.


Talking about Zeromus now. This is a thread talking about all FF characters, not only the evil ones. Many of them can use the crystal and defeat him. Hell, some of them don't even need the crystal to do that. Ex-Death using the Void for example.
