They're both stronger,and in some ways one is stronger than the other vincent may be a bit faster..but cloud is physically strong...so I guess it just depends on who you like better..lol I myself prefer cloud..but that's just me

actually there's hidden powers in cloud as u can see since he couldn't beat those 3 Kadaj,Loz and Yazoo but when he came back again he just beat the shit out of them and I dunno know how he did it, but Vincent has limit break's and they r transformation so if he transformed to that Frankienstain he'll be a damn slow and chaos just fly didn't find him that powerful, so I choosed Cloud. ^^

even though vincent has guns and can transform, cloud can still whoop him. It takes a man to charge into a battle with a sword while risking everything than to be a wuss and hide behind a gun.

i like vincent more his attitude is like piccalo in DBZ always alone and calm... i started liking vincent after Derge of cerberus.
But in FF7 my favorite charecter is Sephiroth

Have you seen advent children? Vincent cant even scratch Bahamut SHIN while Cloud destroys it in one hit - so what Vincent can fly - Cloud can jump really high - can weild a sword bigger than most small children and has killed Sephiroth 3 times.

Speed has everything to do with it. so what if Cloud can kill Bahamut sin in one hit if Cloud couldent hit what good would all that power be? and if Vincent hit Cloud with anyone of his bullets...you've seen Advent children obviously that one shot from Yazoo frigged up Cloud.

I think cloud since he never dies because he has the spirit of aeris and the spirit of zack. that makes him tough.

Yazoo hit Cloud when he was on his bike and defenseless, not to mention he was suffering from Geostigma in his arm and lost his sword during that chase. That's the only time Yazoo shot him and he shot Cloud's goggles. It didn't "frig" him up. If you remember the fight in the Forgotten City, Cloud blocked every single one of those bullets with his swords, so I think Cloud is thoroughly and fully capable of kicking any gunman's ass. As for the ending, Cloud had no idea that those brothers were even behind him. If he had known, Cloud would have been a hell of a lot more alert AND would have been able to block that shot.

HOWEVER I really don't feel either one of them are stronger than the other, like I said before. Their strength balances one another out. That's what makes them such good allies in battle together.

And on that note, I rest my case.
