vincent or balthier?

They are both using guns (of course ff-12 characters can use any weapon), but ho is more of a gunner? Who is cooler character? Mystic vincent or "comic" balthier? One thing is for sure, balthier talks way much more

I believe Vincent would be the better gunner. He would have to be the cooler one because well, he have a game based on him and he rarely talks. Now that's cool.

Definitely Balthier, far more open, interesting, comical and just the best FFXII Character evar, but Vincent's obviously more of a gunner, seeing as how that's all he can use

Has to be Vincent, he's cool, and he has a terrible power, and as for Balthier, well he's just a chep rip off, of Han Solo...

vincent all the way. He can turn into chaos and is far more acrobatic than balthier.

This is a hard choice indeed.
On one hand, there's Vincent who is one of my favourite computer game characters ever, nevermind just FF characters. His attitude towards the matters at hand (i.e. Sephiroth trying to take over the world) was interesting, and the way that his character came across as so mysterious intrigued me. I never have, and probably never will, considered him as an 'emo'. He is not one to dwell on what he has lost and let it control him. Instead he used that experience to fight on. That takes a strong character. Then his battle abilities are great too. He's a great gunslinger, which you don't actually see in many games nowadays, sadly.

However, on the other hand, Balthier always seemed so clued up. He was always calm, collected and commanding. He was very much like James Bond in that respect, which is probably why I loved his character so

. That, plus he probably has the best VA for any character is any FF game. That English accent was beautiful.

Also, it's in the wrong section.

vincint all the way man! i got about half way through the FF-12 (i believe that i the normal numeric number) before i got bored. but i couldn't get enough of FF-VII. Personally I believe that it was somewhat of a stroke of Genius to make the mysterious gunner, with the troubled past, Vincint Valentine the main charactor in the game FF-VII Dirge of Cerberus.

I wouldn't exactly call it genius. Take a character, construct a deep and troubled past, add in a large enemy group intent on destroying the man, and you have yourself DoC.

Definately Vincent, he has such a sad/interesting history NOT including the whole Chaos thing! His guns are way cooler, he has a cloak and flies about like a madman...
