These are two very different characters you're comparing. O.O If you're going on the basis that they're both gunners, Irvine and Yuna could also be possible choices.
I guess if I had to choose between the two I'd choose Vincent. He was a turk after all and death penalty pwns.

I'd pick Vincent. He has that dark mysterious air about him. Also, he sleeps in a coffin and transforms into beasts.
He's also a better gunner, IMO. Balthier looked cool with a gun but I never really found guns to be all that useful in FFXII.

Vincent all the way. He's just so infinitely cooler.
And if i may throw in a third gunner, Kaze from Final Fantasy: Unlimited is pretty cool. His bullets can summon, thats just plain awesome.

I must ask you to explain how can you find BOTH of them boring or to suck? I dont find Vincent boring when kicking ass of all those deepground soldiers, or fighting Omega.
As for Balthier, how many times would you laugh if he was excluded from ff-12? |

Its called an opinion. JR doesnt need to explain themselves to you or anyone else because thats their opinion. If JR wishes to explain, then she may do so. She doesnt have to.
And Im a Balthier fangirl. I love his British accent, Han Solo persona and he is just a great character. Vincent was too closd off for me and I couldnt be bothered wanting to know more about him.

Well, I love both of their Attitudes. One is Dark and Mysterious and the other is snooty and blunt. I love them.
I'd say Vincent is more skilled.

Yeah, i agree. Balthier is cooler and seems to be more wiser. Kinda like the FFXII equal of Auron except he uses Guns (in his pictures anyway)
