Ok, so we have a threads on which are the hottest characters of the series, but have you actually ever thought about what an actual date with these people would be in real life. And by date I mean going to a movie and grabbing something to eat later.
However I bet many of us think some characters would be more dateable than others because of their personalities.

Here's my input on which male characters would be or not be dateable.

Squall: Ok, I sincerely can't see myself dating this guy, or any other sensitive girl for that matter.
I imagine the date would go something like:

Girl:Hey that was a nice movie, wasn't it?
Squall:Whatever
Girl: Um, right. So, do you wanna grab something to eat?
Squall: ...
Girl: Do you want sushi or pizza?
Squall: Whatever
Girl: What a prick

He's just too stiff. Only Rinoa can crack this tough nut.

Zell: Ok, it would be hilarious to date this guy (unless he does something embarrassing like bouncing on the couch like he did on the train to Timber). He would probably go for pizza (or better yet hot dogs). He would probably tell a lot of jokes and brag about his XBox accomplishments. He would probably want to watch a comedy movie or a terror film (I just would hope he doesn't like anything Uwe Boll makes.)

Irvine: Typical romantic guy. He would probably bring you flowers and chocolates and whatnot, but you would have to have him on a tight leash because he tends to flirt with anything with a pulse, in which case you would have to bitchslap him. He would probably like a western film and a romantic film and go out for Italian food.

Cloud: He's pretty much in Squall's category but to a slightly lesser degree. You could probably make him open up himself.

Tidus: Here's another guy who would be cool to date. He seems more of the sensitive type, so he would take your preferences into consideration, though he would probably like to go to a sports related event (especially blitzball). He would also tell jokes and laugh a lot (as long as he doesn't do it the way he did in Luca).

Vaan: He's a combination of Zell and Tidus. Another interesting date.

Balthier: Balthier is the charming and refined kind of guy (even though he's a pirate). He would probably like to go to a fine restaurant and watch and independent film.

So based on the characters' personalities, guys and gals, which characters would you date, how do think these dates would be?

I think Reno would make a good date. Although he seems the type to take you to a bar and get your drunk. Uhhh....yeah...

Rufus Shinra would seem the type to be too cheap but while shopping with him on the date he spends money on himself.

Rufus: "Oh my god! Look! This is a Giorgio Armani's jacket. It's from his new spring collection. Wouldn't you think this color would look great with my Porsche!?"

Date: "Umm sure...looks great...Do you have a dollar by any chance? I'm thirsty..."

Rufus: "What? No! I'm not giving you a dollar!"

Date: "So your buying a $4,000 jacket but you won't lend me a dollar to buy a soda!?"

Rufus: Uhhh *looks around* That dollar goes to charity towards starving children of Midgar...*shifty eyes*

Date: ....Right...*Walks off*

Dating any of the girls would be dangerous, one wrong word and crash bang wallop. It would be no messing around with a Final Fantasy girl.

Boy: Do you want to go for a drink Tifa?
Tifa: Dilly Dally Shilly Shally
Boy: What?
Tifa: Dilly Dally Shilly Shally
Boy: What the hell you taking about you weird girl?
Tifa - Crash bang wallop and your out.

Cloud: "..."
Girl: "...?"
Cloud: "..."
Girl: "So...what do we talk about?"
Cloud: "...Sephiroth."

(We all know he's obsessed with Sephiroth. Whenever I think of Cloud, Sephiroth comes to mind next.)

Zidane: "Oh that's okay. You can get to know me while we're dating. So how 'bout it?"

Hmm lets see..
1st:Rikku would be enjoyable ; ) but youd have to be an athelete or something to keep up with her lol. Not really for me.
2nd:Lulu would be fun shes a more relaxed person more my type ya.
3rd:Yuna would be fun but shes more of a bottled up person so theres good and bad.
4th: Paine:will be very very intresting she'll be fun and stuff but make a wrong move and well sephirothalpha pretty much summed it up...shes like a Female Auron in my opinion.
Thats about all I can think off.
