I'd eat one of those magic mushrooms from FFVIII. They look like they'd go down like jello.

The following is, of course, fictional, so don't take it seriosuly, but since when have I been serious?

Hello, fellow gourmets. It is I, MasterX, the man who has tasted every creature from every video game land! They say I have the endurance to eat the most poisonous and toughest creatures, but don't forget; because a monster is strong, does it neccesarily belong in a stew? Well, I will open up a brand new segment for those MasterX fans:

-Get Outta Those Plains And Into My Belly!-

Let's get down to business! We'll start with those lovable chocobos. (Although the folks at Chocobo Farm now hate me because of it...) They have a moist, plump and meaty quality to them which is reminiscent of chicken. Ther flavour depends on the colour of the chocobo. (For the love of god, don't eat red nor gold chocobos. Red ones are spicy as all hell, and gold ones are great for racing.) *They really sell decent seasoned chocobo at Kalm Fried Chocobo restaurants. (The secret is Reagen Greens combined with the heavenly Mimmett Greens to make a season so difficult to resist.)

Next would be the famous but heavily underrated Cactuar. They have juiciness that is unrivaled, even by sea creatures, though very flavourless. The restaurant, Cactuar King, who usually serves it in burgers, has managed to legally duplicated the Reagen/Mimmett combo without being sued by KFC. (Or Gyshal Greens is a cheap substitute for Mimmett.)

Magdragolas DO taste exactly like salad. Conviniently, they're classified the healthiest of food. Don't wanna die from overdose of meat? Try the delisious and nutritious Mandragola!

Hedgehog pies...will kill you. The meat is rare and has been known to kill you within 10 hours of consumption. The meat has a slight burning sensation, but not anything to be excited about. If you don't have a Cactite Flower Petal to cure the Hedgehog Pie Disease.

Malboros are a differentn story to begin with: There's no cure. Don't eat one. Try a Remedy if you feel like. In its early stages, Malboro Poison isn't too effective, but wait an hour, and you'll leave a big toxicy corpse.

Midgar Zolom is the monster to kill if you want a quality meal. Its meat is tough, yet juicy. It won't fill you up as much as any other meat, though it has the highest quality of meat in the world. (Ceourls taste too much like cat to enjoy....)

The Gil Snapper and Great Tortoises from The Giza Rains have tougher meat than Midgar Zolom, but they're way tastier. (Stay away from Silicon Tortoises. They taste like silicon.)

Tonberry meat id very hard to get a hold off, but if you do, you'll enjoy it. (I'm being vague here because this is long enough as it is.) Also, the price for a pound is 1 Mill Gil. (It'll do you more good to sell it than to eat it, but Tonberries have those nasty death moves.)

Behemoths are gigantic and muscular, but their meat would be better if you poured LAVA on it. It's the nastiest meat you'll ever eat, and killing a Bahamoth isn't easy.

Moombas are great meat, but I can't bear to eat another one.. they're so darn cute...

Moogles are just stuffing and blood inside. It'll do you no good to kill one.
