Here's also when he gained a bit of the ultimate power he longed for...
He had engulfed something around the size of a planet in a space-time anomaly that could have consumed an entire region of space. However he chose to lose and be killed by Rubedo (the kid with teh guns) because Albedo has always really wanted to be killed by him.
