Only 1 character stood out for me in FFVIII and that was squall, but in seven I liked every character (Cait Sith was average). FFVII gets my vote in every area. Vincent and Cloud could probably take them alone.

Yeah, based on this I would have to choose FF7. Cloud, Tifa, Cid, Vincent? yeahhh...Only people that are good on FF8's team is Zell, Squall, & Laguna. rofl. FF7 hands down, they'd beat the shit outta FF8.
