Ok so it seems that going back to the lab has won out.
We return to the lab and drop off the evidence. While it's being processed we swing by the Coroner's office for his findings. The victim is still unidentified. Liver temp taken at the scene told us he died around 11:25 last night. Cause of death was determined to be exsanguination (blood loss) from the large wound on the torso. The victim's fingerprints have been taken by the coroner so we now have a reference to compare the hilt prints to. The coroner found skin cells under the victim's nails, so he must have scratched his killer. We take this sample back to the lab with us. The blood on the hilt of the sword matched that of the victim as did the fingerprints lifted from it. We can conclude that he was holding the sword and therefore it was most likely his. The sword itself has a serial number etched onto the hilt so we start running that number to see who it is registered to. We then drop off the skin cells collected from under the victim's fingernails, and a search has started running throught CODIS (Combined DNA Index System)
we can now either
1:wait for a match through CODIS on the skin cells
2: return to the scene and begin questioning the pub owner and other possible witnesses

OK Choice #2 Wins!
We return to the crime scene and begin talking to possible witnesses.The Owner said that the victim was a regular customer. He identified him as one Kratos Orion. The owner of the pub says that the victim entered the pub around 9:30 last night and ordered a drink. He had multiple drinks from 9:30 to 10:30 PM and left the pub at around 10:45 PM. He tells us that at about 10:15 the victim got into an argument with another young man, apparently over a woman. The pub owner broke up the fight and the other young man left. The owner said he didn't know who the young man was, and that he hadn't seen him around before.
1. Return to the lab to see if there have been any hits in CODIS
2. Go to Balamb Garden and interrogate Kratos's friends and teachers about him.
