i don't like having no solid control over an Aeon
i was quite happy when against Braska's Final Aeon Yojimbo used Zanmato when i was almost dead and Yuna was the only one standing though :p
also, i like the elemental Aeons because they can heal themselves with spells of their Element, only Anima knows Curaga(and several other neat spells to pimp her up as much as possible :p)
i didn't teach Bahamut and Valefor to heal themselves, so i don't use them that often
