who thinks zell and selphie might be brother and sister?

let's see, zell and selphie are both very hyper-active and both are loud think of some more factors that might link them and choose for yourself whether you think they are related.

Selphie and Zell are two of my favorite characters...and they are different they might but talk a bit loud but Selphie seems to be the kind of girl who´s addicted to sugar which makes her hyper!

On another note they don´t look alike at all and if they were brother and sister they would have probably went to the orphanage at the same time and remember that they were related!

So Zell is not Selphies brother!

I would've thought the hair colour would be much more similar! I can see why you think so though, they're both so hyper.
Jimmy had a good point, they probably would have remembered they were related when they were at the orphanage.

On a technical level, they are siblings. They grew up in the same orphanage, and were a part of each other's lives as children, even if they don't remember it because of GF influence.

It takes more than blood to make siblings. If blood were all it took, we'd all be siblings, if you believe creationism or Darwinism.

As far as that goes, the only one that is not 'related' to the main characters is Rinoa. And she even fits into the pattern, if you read between the lines of the story.

I would have to say no.

Yeah they where both hyper active and could be annoying at times, but I don't think that's enough to go on. Lets just say that even if it where the case, there's absolutely nothing in the game to really support it in my opinion.

Selphie and zell don't even look alike.
There would have to have been some cheating involved if this were the case.

I'm going to say no too. I don't remember if either Zell or Selphie make any mention at all about their parentage in the game, but I don't think they did. Other than a similar character, there's no other evidence supporting the fact that they may be brother and sister. They don't look alike, and don't seem to share any sort of bond. You'd assume that they'd remember something like that during the flashback of their childhood in the orphanage

As far as I've ever witnessed...siblings usually act very differently from one another out of a yearning to be less alike one another.

There's no way that Zell are Selphy are siblings. First off, Square never gave any sort of hints that it could be the case at all. They gave hints about Laguna being Squall's father, didn't they? That Raine is Squall's mother?

But they never gave hints about Zell or Selphy being siblings, other than the fact that they are both indeed hyper. But so what? Some of us thinks that Square did not really developed most of the characters that well anyway, and that includes Selphy and Zell.

I dont believe they are related, as its been pointed out, they dont even look alike. I always thought they would become a couple because they are so much alike and seem suited for on another.
