S.O.S. top question

hi all!!!i have one big question about VIII...
please help me!!!!
the question is:Squall when kill ultymesia and play video he die in the end of road?????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????
my friend say he die and rinoa after wish to come back squall...he have right???

No he does not die. at the very end of the game after the credits you see Squall and Rinoa on the Balcony together, and then they kiss. He just kinda passes out in that desert, and Rinoa finds him. I think she believes him to be dead to by her expression when she hugs his motionless body, but then as she looks at him again she has a look of surprise on her face, which i take to mean that he has woken up in her arms.

Yeah, Squall doesn't die but it does look like it when you first see it. I think I got a little confused about it but came to realize that everything would turn out alright in the end. I hope not many spoilers were given to you just then.
