Im training outside Jahara training. Vaan and Basch are at level 25 or so. Everyone else is around 17. ARe my levels fine to continue or should i be doing some more training?

It's been a while since I've been around there, but basically the rule of thumb is if you havent been skipping content (doing a reasonable amount of hunts and not running from fights unless you'd die otherwise) you should always be proper level for wherever you are going in the main quest, if you have the feeling that its too hard for you then you should just go ahead and do some hunts that are your level or check to make sure that you have good up to date gear. Another thing to do to make sure you are proper level is to get the accessory that gives double exp and put them on your main characters.

Outside of Jahara you should use steal on those horse looking things, you could get almost double of what they drop. I don't remember the name of the item that they drop, but I made something like 30,000 gil selling them and had all my chrs gain 2 -3 levels in about an hour.
