Is Kimahri really needed? - Page 14

Kimahri is my most powerfull character i think that if you know what you´re doing he can become the best overall character no doubt!

Is this one of those "Think outside the Box" questions?
Is Yuna really needed! LOL! Is Tidus and Wakka and Lulu and Auron?! LOL!

Kimarhi has the Blue Mage part, for 1.
2, he was asked by Braska to be Yunas Guardian.
3. He has unfinished business with Biran and Yanki, about his "MISSING HORN"
4, he can be a VERY powerful character...IF you build him up correctly and move him around the Correct side of the Sphere Grid.

My Yuna could deal 99999 damage with her weapon! thats stronger then my Tidus at first. If you need help, just ask

That was to further develop his character. Neither Biran or Yenki would be needed if Khimari wasn't a character in the game. They did more to "futher develop" Khimari's character with side-story like Biran and Yenki than they did include him into the main story.

Granted he looked after Yuna since she was a mere child and transported her to Besaid... but they could have easily made it some random NPC that did that job for High Summoner Braska instead of Khimari. It would have more impact to further develop Yuna and Braska's character if you randomly met that person in your travels than it did to devote a shallow character like Khimari for that sole purpose.

Auron was asked by Braska to be her Guardian, not Kimahri. Kimahri, however, was asked to watch over her by Auron, assuring she was safe because Auron (or so he assumed at the time) could not commit to this.

Yup Saix is completely right the last wish of a dying Auron was for Kimahri to look after Yuna and so he did!

Kimahri was never asked by Braska to be Yunas guardian!

Kimahri as as much purpose in the game as Lulu,Wakka or Rikku!

First I'm sad, now I'm illiterate? try making your point without insulting me and doing childish impressions maybe then people wouldn't argue with you so much

Whoops! Sorry Saix! But Kimarhi played just as an important role as the other characters in the story, that was my point. He is a Ronso. He takes much pride in what he does, and that is why he is the way he is.

Oh, I know what your point was. I was just correcting a slight error on your part. ;p

As for your comment on his "important role," well, I find that debatable. Sure, his story links in, but we only find out what his link is near the end. Or at least, beyond the mid-way point in the game. We see he has issues with Biran and Yenke, but that doesn't exactly tie in with the story. He plays a very small role, story-wise.

My point was blatant enough to everyone else. Only you see to have an issue with implications. And "argue with you so much"? Oh please. Hardly anyone "argues" with me.

Kimahri is a pointless character. The reason i say this is because he really doesn't have a style of his own you can work with and it's always a litte intimidating to me as of what i want to mold him into. His character in the story really wasn't that great either.
