I am finally on the verge on beating my first Final Fantasy game but there is one character in FFVIII that I had a hard time with and that is Rinoa. Throughout my FF experience, I actually Rinoa to be quite annoying because she is so forceful and she keeps getting kidnapped for some strange reason or another. I don't hate Rinoa or anything but I do find her bothersome especially in her relationship with Squall, she keeps bothering the poor guy eventually wearing him out and now he fell in love with her. Rinoa eventually becomes a sorceress but even after becoming a sorceress she gets kidnapped again and get practically absorbed by Adel. I could write more but I need to finish the game and my mind is not all that focused. Does anyone here find Rinoa annoying or is it just me?

Lmao. I love you. It isn't JUST YOU, at all. I found Rinoa to be extremely annoying and just downright smackable. Maybe it's because I despise, in real life, these girls who are soo forward that they have to practically jut, their chests, right into a guy's face and then proceed to smother them. Of course, Rinoa didn't do that but, whenever I encountered her, in the game - I was reminded of those girls. I kept thinking: Damn woman, leave the guy alone. It's clear he doesn't like you!

On a more serious note: Rinoa is a fragile character and very weak - when you get down to the core of her. You realize this as you get further into the game. She really needs Squall - perhaps more then he needs her.
