Don't worry, there's 10 years left. But since Square changed to Square-Enix, the series went downhill. In my eyes, FFX was the death of the FF series.

Still, we had great games leading up to FF9. I wonder how life will be without Final Fantasy?

Nah, IMO 12 was, there just wasnt that Spark that i usually get while playing FF games, thats probably why i havent finished FF12 yet.

I would join an FF site to discuss Final Fantasy games and because I like them. Luckily for me and most FF fans, the FF series extends far beyond Final Fantasy 7.

Plus the length of a game does not determine how good it is.

nope, there's no time for FF14 or 15. It's hard to explain, but i'll try explain this really simply.

right now, Square-Enix are only working on TWO PROJECTS.

The Final Fantasy 7 project

and the Final Fantasy 13 project , named: ''Fabula Nova Crystallis Project'' which is latin for 'The Tale Of The New Crystal'.


FF7 project has: Before Crisis, Advent Children, Dirge Of Cerberus and the mobile phone game, i forget the name. But altogether i think there is 4 games/movies in the project right now.... There is due to be 6. So that's 2 more..

In the FF13 project, there are 6 games due to be released. It'll be 10 years in the making. No other FF games will be made in this time, apart from anything in the FF7 and FF13 project.


So i personally believe, the last game Square-Enix completely end the series with will be the FF7 remake.

But this is in 10 years time. 2017.

FFXI games, FF Dissidia, FFIV Remake, etc, don't have anything to do with FFVII or FFXIII, and SE is making them right now.

Sorry, but it explains you don't know much about what you are talking.
SE is divided in many groups. Each group work in a diferent game/movie/whatever. Because of that, they can create many games in the same time, without any problem. A group will work in FFXIII for 10 years, another will work in FFVII, and another group will work in other games(other FFs or not) during these 10 years.

Mario would jump on Seph's head 3 times and because Mario is WAYYYYY stronger physically than anyone in FFVII, his hea dwould be pulp.
