Hmm...the first time I saw that scene, I was like 11 years old, so I honestly can't recall what my thoughts were. Today though, I don't think it's that sad...I thought that FFX's ending was more touching...

Oh, yeah, definately. FFX's ending is one of the most touching things I've seen. It ranks up high with "Things that Make Me Tear Up" with White Fang, and the ending of Eureka 7 & Trigun on [AS].
But still, the Aeris death scene was pretty shocking, despite me knowledge of it before hand.

I was Shocked! when it happened.
I always thought she would be revived later on.
Then I beat the game and was surprised that they actually killed off a Character you used through an entire disk, I felt bad for the people who actually trained her and used her in the main party.

I cried the first couple of times, but now since I've played the part over and over It doesn't come as big of a shock as it originally did

No, I never stopped crying about it, because I never started.
Messianic sacrifice isn't the most tragic death. Plus, she kinda bugged me when she was alive (but as a super-Cetra in the Lifestream, I totally love her, haha).

I thought it was sad, but yeah, the FFX ending was sadder.
Although i thought the saddest ending was the Kingdom Hearts one where Sora and Kairi finally meet up, but are split up again Simple and clean is one of the most tear-jerking songs i've heard
