I still think Cloud would want to support his boys without choking them off. I'd think boxer-briefs or briefs. Boxers are more comfortable but you can't have those things dangling about in the heat of battle. Imagine trying to just out of the way of Yazoo's gunblade only to get your man stones in a bind.

He could wear tight boxers, then he looks cool and keeps everything in its place. Although a bit uncomfortable i think it would be best in instances that required omnislash.

I think all boys should wear boxers. I don't care how uncomfortable they are. As long as it looks good I'm fine with it.
Briefs remind me of my cousins. They're 2 and 5. That's the age for briefs as far as I'm concerned.
I wouldn't know how it feels if things dangle down there anyway.
So that being said. Cloud better be a boxer-type. No funky colors.

I always though briefs were mainly for male models.

Hardly! You don't want your boys being whipped around and slapped against your legs all day, they'd just get sore! Cloud is definitely a briefs kinda guy. If he's not, then I see an opportunity to vastly improve the quality of his life.

Tight boxers? I believe the term you are looking for is briefs. Boxers typically have the seem going down the middle, and having them be 'tight' would just have that run right through your chode and between your cheeks like some kinda ghetto g-string. Not comfortable friend, quite the opposite. Or could you mean boxer-briefs? Which are technically just briefs with a little leg portion added.
