Reks from XII
He seemed like an interesting fellow. I wish that Vaan had dies instead of him. He seemed like a more cool person than Vaan was. His time in the game was too short lived. I liked the way he acted and fought. I liked him more than Vaan for some reason His hair even seemed cooler than Vaan's.

Entrusting his future to the cards, man clings to a dim hope.
Beyond the beaten path lies the absolute end.
It matters not who you are...
Death awaits you."

Blank from IX. I really wanted him to become a permanant part of my party instead of Armarant. Also Beatrix from IX. I would also have loved her to have been a permanant member.
General Leo from VI. He's one of my favorite characters from the game even though he played such a small role.
Laguna from VIII. I really wish he could have joined the main characters because I thought his story was very interesting.

Al-Cid is a rather interesting character with a very smooth way of talking and an accent I absolutely adored listening to. It would have been better if we get to explore Al-Cid and the Rozarrian Empire. Al-Cid is practically as important as Larsa is in Ivalice politics at the time, so he should have been given the same screentime treatment as Larsa. With the Rozarrian Empire being such a crucial presence to the story, it's a wonder why we don't even get to visit it.
General Beatrix is a good contender as well. I love how honourable she is as a warrior, who chose to defend Garnet rather than remain vainly loyal to a greedy queen. It would have been nice to explore her backstory - how she rose the ranks to become such a formidable general and whatnot. General Leo is similar as well and he should have been explored more as well.
Finally, even though she does play a significant part, I would have wanted Cissnei to appear more often. She is the most mysterious out of the Turks and her fate afterwards is just unknown. She does flirt with Zack and I would have liked to see her being a foil for the ZackxAerith pairing. Too bad Cissnei only ends up sharing a flirty yet professional relationship with Zack though.

I agree about Blank, I always wanted him to be a permanent member of the party.
Also, in a way, Seifer in VIII... I know he plays a huge part in the storyline but I really, really him to be in my party instead of on the opposing side. At the very least, I would have liked to have had the chance to use him more whilst I did have him at the start...
I don't agree about Reks though. Am I the only person that actually likes Vaan? Sure, he was a bit of an odd main character and he would have done better as a supporting character, but still... I did like him.

Nida (FFVIII): I always liked Nida. No particular reason, I suppose. I guess it was just the way everyone barely noticed his existence. I thought it was amusing.
Xu (FF VIII): Xu was an awesome NPC character. She had a lot of spunk and she seemed tough. I think she would have made an interesting party member.
Jote and Mjrn (FF XII): I was actually kind of fascinated by Fran's relationship with her sisters. I really would have liked to see more of them and more interactions between Fran and her family.

Although I like Fujin for creating "RAGE" she's a bit too major a character to list.
A while ago me an a few friends were debating going as really crap computer game characters for the next fancy dress party and I was probably going to go as Zangan from FFVII. He has no real purpose in the game as evident from cutting him from Crisis Core and he has a hilariously bad name.

FFXII: Jote & Mjrn
Agreeing with Tia on the matter, I was extremely interested by the relationship between Fran and her sisters. I definitely would have loved to see more background on these two.
FFXII: Reks
He seemed a lot more interesting than Vaan, by far. I would have adored playing his story instead of Vaans, however that may have been a short story. I at least would have liked to play as him for a little bit longer, the beginning of FFXII was fun.
FFVIII: Laguna & Raine
I adored Raine as a character, but it's too bad that we only got to see a little bit of her story. I do wish that there were more scenes that included Laguna and Raine, because their relationship seems like an important one.
