[Suggestion] for a new section
This is just something that has occured to me, but I've just noticed that there isn't a specific section for news-related topics. So I was just wondering if getting one was a possibility?

There's a section for 'serious discussion,' but I don't think this is a bad idea. It'd help organize the site, if nothing else.
I'd support such a thing. Could quite easily become a very popular section of the forum.

Could really come under a number of topics. lots are on here. But I agree with you, a section dedicated for news related topics would be a good idea.

News as in like news around the world and stuff if so yes because then people could learn about stuff thats happening in other places around the world o.O

I honestly think there are too many sections on this Forum, most that are simply unneeded or sections that I can never get around to reading through.

OK then, my reasonings. Pretty much the same as everyone else. You can get to know what's going on around the world, yeah. But it would just be useful for debates I think, but not as serious or in depth like we have in the Deep Research Facility or whatever it's called.

Pooley, you rock. I love the idea. I don't really keep tabs on news nowadays, so this would really help...not just me, but a few others as well, I'm sure. 
And as far as having too many sections on this forum already...true. But having another one wouldn't really be much of a difference anyway.
