The number of forums has nothing to do with the server load.
But if it is such a bother to you, then there is an option to minimise the ones you don't wish to post in.

acually they do links take up memory furthermore each link needs to be created and placed on the server so that takes up server space that way
i know this because i have had classes on creation and production of websites.
so this is one reason i believe that we should merge the forums that are useless as of yet.

Any forum with less than 100, or maybe less than 200, posts probably shouldn't exist. So merging might be a decent idea. Any forum with more than 200 posts is probably OK by itself.

From the list posted, which forums would be being merged together?

finally ya'll agree with me i came up with this idea to lower the load amount and make the site better and they blew it off like it was crap.

Busta's is pretty much how I would do it for most of it, but I would also have Tactics Advance as a sub-forum (along with the new ones now) to the original Tactics. Plus some of the forums in the 'Midgar' and 'Spira' sections could do with merging.
