RPG message
I'm pretty sure that n00bs still don't receive RPG access instructions upon joining. If they do, then I live under a rock.
I think it would be a good idea for staff to stick their heads together, come up with a nice little informative (maybe just a few sentences) explaining how to gain access to the RPG. You could post the informative notice somewhere that everyone can see it. It's not necessary for n00bs to see the notice right off the bad; the idea is for frequent seventh heaven inn dwellers to copy and paste the message into n00bie's welcoming threads.

Nobody really reads the initial PM thoroughly though. Might already be included, but I see no harm in introducing it.
I'm unsure as to whether the error message for Inferno can actually be edited. At least, I've not noticed a function to do in the past. That'd probably be the best place to actually write anything up regarding the issue. Every time the matter has been explained before now, it's been lost and quintessentially ignored/glanced over by people who just end up making a thread about it anyway. Perhaps the shoutbox notifications could be used to remedy this...

That sounds like the best idea to me. If not, then put it in the welcome PM, but of course very few people bother to take time with that.
But in all seriousness, how many times has this been brought up, and how many times has it been resolved?
