Privileges for Upper-Classes?

Well, I was just trying to edit my signature a wee while ago and it never really struck me just how little space we have for signatures. 10 lines isn't really an awful lot. I'm exactly on the limit and my signature is hardly huge, is it?

I'm not actually desperate for some more room, I'm just using this to introduce my suggestion. Why don't we give more privileges to members in the upper-classes, say, Veterans and Seniors, to keep numbers down? For example ... 15 lines for signatures, maybe a bigger avatar, 125x125 perhaps? I know I'd like some more room in the About Me section in my profile, as well as some more typing space for my favourite bands and whatnot.

So aye, some of us have been here for absolutely ages (ahem xD) and this could be a little ... thank you xD

I'd still like it if Senior / veteran members had the same priveledges before, where they can see why posts / treads have been deleted. Mainly because then they know if the staff members are doing their jobs or not - and if they're being too harsh a senior or Veteran member is more likely to complain about them. And a senior/veteran member are more likely to be staff candidates, so it would be helpful for them to know how a staffer does the job.

I like your ideas though Riku, but i fear that some people may spam to senior member - like FFGuy (no offense dude) - just to get larger sig spaces.

Then, in special cases like him, you could revoke some of his privileges xD

I'm with the motion to allow us to view moderators actions, actually. I hadn't realised until recently that I couldn't see them. It stops some of the "what happened to my post?" and "where did my thread go?"

How much do you need to say in your signature that could actually be worth saying? Honestly I think there's enough as there is. Now I'm alright with larger pictures and larger avatars... but not for more signature space in general. There's just no reason. There are enough signatures out there that are big enough already, there's no reason to have any bigger than that.

Ten lines does seem a bit stingy, but consider that most people have images in their signatures. SE7 is a valid point in case. Having numerous images along with that ten lines becomes a bit much, and isn't exactly... nice to look at.

I'd like the ten line minimum to be lifted, but only so I can have more lulzy quotes in my sig. Really though, I think adding more lines is impractical.

I think that larger avatars would be very nice. Mebbe something like 120x120 or possibly 140x140.

SE7's sig.... It's just... Way too big. Maybe we should decrease the number of images allowed to be in a signature? I'm really not used to having to scroll down an entire page between posts.

I don't really think we need more lines, but just a few more would be nice.
