Nah, I think chat rooms organized by status is bad idea. But there should be like 2 or 3 different rooms to access in case one gets too crowded...so members can meet in whichever room they want. =]
Like the room I'm in now...is so crowded, I can barely get a word in.

I agree with Pooley though, maybe when the site gets bigger, maybe in a couple years or months, the way the site's going....
But now?
I mean, there's really never more than 15 at the same time, as far as I've seen, but then again, if some topics are better discussed in privacy for a select few...
The default room is fine in my opinion, as Busta and Mitsuki said, it's a great place to talk to members you've never talked to before.
The default room meets our needs right now I think.
There's no direct need for more rooms right now.

Honestly, just the one room is pulling a lot on the server, imagine what two or three would do. The server would constantly be frozen or 'lagging' as you say. I think an mIRC might just be the answer. We could even possibly set it up to be a java running room.
