I fell over this article on PC Gamer and thought it might be of interest to some FF fans. It certainly seems very influenced by classic PS1 era FF (FF7 in particular) with ridiculously big swords, silly hair cuts, and pre-rendered backgrounds. It is still very early in development, so it looks very rough around the edges, but even at this stage, I think there is still a lot to like.
