I have RACKED MY BRAIN and probably due to too many...chemicals...pumped through my body several years ago, I cannot for the LIFE of me remember any of the old FF communities out there.

Hopefully this isn't viewed as a conflict of interest here but I was wondering if ANYONE had ever been involved in one of those mid to late 90s FF communities. I think one was ffonline.net or something to that effect...another had to do with Chocobos and another had to do with the music but was later expanded to just be a Final Fantasy fan hub...I can't freakin remember!

Anyways, does anyone here remember any of those old websites? I could use URLs of the old ones to find their new names or ANYTHING that might help me find them would be fantastic.

I BELIEVE ffshrine.org was one of them but I haven't done enough digging there to find out if it's one of those sites I remember as a teen. Who knows? Maybe they're all dead and gone but I'd like to know as I am looking for someone in particular who frequented those sites 15 or so years ago. Thanks yall! And perhaps I'll check back here from time to time. Anyone suffer from being unable to get to sleep? =/
Im not talking about people who stay up super late and say they cant sleep but really they choose to sit on the internet all night. I mean people who try to go to sleep but cant. The last month this has happened to me and i cant shake it. I didnt sleep last night and tonight i lay in bed for 3 hours but again nothing. Its the most boring and horrible feeling. Its especially worse when im restless and cant even lye still for more than 15 seconds without having to jerk my body or roll over.
Problem is that doctors dont like giving out sleeping tablets cuz theyre addictive but i cant go on not sleeping. Its pure shite to be frank

Anyone know any home remedies? *This is not to go inline with a FFXIV: A Realm Reborn jokes*

I am happy to announce Project World Reborn, originally designated to be apart of this forum and give you members a forum based adventure where you would fight countless enemies and journey around a new world.
The concept was simple, make something bigger and better than the FF Text adventure that we had seen on this forum, it was a blast don't you agree?

After playing through that I wanted to make my own but I wanted to go steps further and farther, what I am planning to do requires it's very own forum in which I have already made this morning.
(Obviously it is a free hosting version for now as this is purely Alpha and no content will be shown for a little while)

Project World I had originally planned for this site sadly had to be scrapped for household reasons and work related trouble getting to me. But now I have got past that and thought of even better ways to make this game work. Who knows it might go beyond a forum adventure and actually make a text adventure itself!

What to expect from Project World Reborn?

-Choose from 5 uniquely named and completely different races
-Choose a class, each plays differently
-4 Continents to fully explore over a long peroid of time
-Over 56 Locations each with many different paths (I.E. Different posts make different location pathes)
-Over 100 Monsters each with stats in a spreadsheet to accompany your journey
-An Expanded Heads/Tails combat system with dice rolling for optional moves.
-Over 100 Weapons for different levels and specifc classes.
-You will have your own dedicated thread with one post limit for you to record your HP/MP/Money/Items at the end of each time

And many more things to be announced as the time goes on and I am cracking on with it.

How does a Forum Adventure work?
Post with description of location>Fight with monster if mentioned>Option of different path>Redirects to a different Post>World Map will be accesible

Remember this is only a forum based adventure in which there will be only writing, earning levels and money and inventory management has to be done by yourself. Consider this a complex game but I assure you levels will be easy to follow with exp being ending in 5's or 0's for now (If I can implement a system down the line I will)

I will not post the forum through here just yet but I would love for this to be classed as a feature exclusively for this forum as it is one of my all time favorite forums.
