...yeah, EVERYTHING I write, even about my life, has to be a reference to something. Just be thankful I'm trying to be creative and not going with the painfully obvious twisted in the worst possible way to suit my needs. Something like "Photocopier, I choose you!" or something equally crap that only an amateur writer would come up with. My references are both relevant AND in their purest form. Hahahaha.
I fucking HATE schoolchildren. They had a SINGALONG on the train this morning. Yes, this EXACTLY the sort of thing I would do, but allow me to highlight precisely why this is bad:
a) The songs they were singing. Angels? Boulevard of Broken Dreams? Bloody HELL. They could AT LEAST have been singing something decent. Or something appropriate. Like Living on a Prayer. Or something Queen. You know, GOOD songs, not pop trash they're probably too young to actually remember being popular.
b) I got Boulevard of Broken Dreams stuck in my head as a result. I HATE Greenday.
c) IT WAS 8AM. YOU DO NOT SING AT 8AM.
d) They sounded absolutely awful.
e) They were far too happy. It's 8am, I have to work until 5:15pm, you've got school and exams. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SO HAPPY ABOUT?!
Alright, so today was spent organizing the rest of those files. Which I finished. It's DONE. Now I can do something else. Hurrah! Time stretched on something awful, though...mornings are hell. Probably because I go for lunch at 1pm; as late as possible. I come back at around 2:15pm, giving me three hours left to work. Tomorrow it'll be two hours. Despite being very much a morning person, afternoons are my favourite time of day. Especially when I'm working. They're shorter. Or they FEEL shorter, anyway. I've taken to timing the day, which helps as well...after all, once it passes the hour mark, it turns to the next hour, which makes it feel shorter. I'm also chatting a lot, and I've been going outside for walks, because they're painting and putting down carpets in the building and the smell is fucking disgusting...it's nauseating, it gives me a headache, and it kills my appetite.
Anyways. If I ever finish my FFXIII scripts, I'm going to write more. I may throw it open to a vote. FFX and X-2, FFXII, Dissidia, Dissidia Duodecim, and maybe Crisis Core, are all possibilities. And that's just FF; I haven't even touched upon the other games I could do. I could have so much fun with this crazy shit. I spent half the morning coming up with ideas. Genesis reciting Philip Larkin poems was my favourite idea:
Genesis: They fuck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do.
Sephiroth: Do you even HAVE parents?
Genesis: At least my mother isn't a psychotic alien!
[Sephiroth runs off crying]
Angeal: Genesis, you know as well as I do that Sephiroth's mother isn't an alien.
Genesis: True...but he obviously isn't intelligent enough to figure that out, is he?
...as an illustration of what was going through my head this morning. If this keeps up, expect a chapter or two over the weekend, because I am ITCHING to write and the moment. It's a curse; the idea comes, it refuses to leave. If I could, I'd start ALL of these projects at once. And do all the reviews I want to do. I wish this forum had a home page or something, complete with FF articles based on current Square Enix News. It'd be like my current posts, only more scathing, entertaining, and controversial. I'd like to say like the stuff Jim Sterling comes out with, but I'm not THAT good. Alas.
So, yeah. Looking forward to the weekend. Gaming, reading, spending all day on my laptop, watching movies (going to re-watch either the Evangelion movies or the Gurren Lagann movies, I think...or maybe Digimon the Movie and/or Summar Wars) and tormenting myself with FFXIII gameplay videos so I can write stuff. Urrrgh.
Now, excuse me whilst I first drown myself in HeartCatch Precure (which, by the way, is NOWHERE NEAR as good as Suite Precure; once again the fans voted for the wrong series; those stupid retards) and then spend the rest of the night whining somewhere about something with a playlist of my favourites.0 Thanks, 0 Likes
