Role-Playing Battle Call-Outs!
This thread is designed simply for those who wish to have an RPB with specific people, but don't want to use PM to do it.
Post who you want to battle here, saying something similar to "I call out [insert username here]." In this way, you will be able to alert other members as to WHO you are fighting, and that you SPECIFICALLY WANT TO FIGHT THAT PERSON. This will reduce chances of somebody joining into a battle that is not open.
So, post away, RPBers! And have fun!

May 20th, 2008 - If you want to have an open battle, make it in The Coliseum, and link to it here. Post along the lines of "Open Battle - [link]"

What a beautiful idea! So practical! So sensable! You are truly a genius of the pragmatic, Hera. In fact, I think I would very much like to be the first person to try this RPB expedient out. So... I'm calling out... YOU, Hera Ledro! My reasons are two fold: 1. As much as I've RP'ed, I've never actually RP'ed against another player, so I would like to practice against the one I consider the best writer in the forum. 2. My characters tend to be unorthodox, with the exception of Wylliam, so before I hurl them into battle in an RP, I'd like to get a feel for them here. So, do you accept my challenge?  |

Then start it I shall. We'll be using a 'wasteland/plains' arena. Basically, it's a long plain (flatlands) with short grass and very little other plant-life. Rocks and large stones cover the area. A bit more description shall be given in the opening post

I'm sorry, but I would prefer to practice one on one with Hera. You are, of course, free to execute open challenges to the RP community in general, set a player limit as you see fit, and accept whomever you wish. However, for open challenges, it is more appropriate to post a thread directly in the colliseum including the scene and your parameters to which you wish everyone to conform.

If you have an Open Battle, then you are allowed to post a link to it here. Say something along the lines of "I have an Open Battle ready" and provide a link.
