Major kudos to SE for putting in Kuja, Zidane, Garland, and the Light Warrior. I hope they include alot more old characters, it would be great to play as Kain or Shadow or Cecil or Locke or Celes. I'm not sure what other IX characters they could put in there...i suppose Amarant and Steiner would be well-suited for a fighting game.

By saying the world has been created 12 times, it's saying that it's starting over from scratch each time, it's not one massive timeline. Just look at the continents. Some look a bit similar (such as VII and IX's worlds), but given the way plate tectonics works, it's virtually impossible that the worlds are connected.

The exception to this is Ivalice, in which XII, Tactics, Vagrant Story, Tactics Advance, and Tactics A2 (in that order) take place. Now, the quote says the world has been created 12 times, and i said that each world is rewritten from scratch, so you may say i'm not being consitant about 12. Wrong. They say it has been recreated 12 times, and as XII is included in the main series and not the Tactics series, that means that it's a separate creation from the previous 11 games.

The guides say that they're connected? How, exactly? Worlds like Spira look nothing like Gaia and Ivalice, or the world of FFI and FFIII. I seriously doubt their's a huge timeline. If it was all the same world ... wouldn't the same lore apply to each game? Like the Lifestream, Memoria and the Far Plane in every game?

Supposedly VII is Spira, just thooooousands of years ahead or some crap like that. And yes, the same lore would have to apply...apparently the greedy bastards SE employed to write the Ultimanium guides didnt take that into consideration. It's all a load of crap, and frankly, anyone who buys what they say is pretty damn gullible. Aztec put it nicely when he said they were "post game bologna", because that's all they are. SE is just trying to capitalize on GOOD games Square released and make more money, so they count on fans' blind faith.

Oh and yes, Beatrix in Dissidia would be awesome. Freya...no...because i hate her. Sir Fratley would be cool though.

You only hate her because you think she's ugly

But, you have to admit, she's a pretty kick-ass dragoon/lancer, in my opinion, much more so than the likes of Kimahri, especially with her "Dragon" abilities.

Beatrix would just pwn. Especially with Seiken

Although, she can't Trance ...

That whole Spira/Gaia thing is a load of crap. The Farplane is nothing like the Lifestream.

I wonder who the 10 main protagonists are. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it'll be the male lead from every game:

Firion?
?? There's Arc, Luneth and Ingus to choose from - I think this game will be left out.

Not in my opinion. I don't think she was that usefull. Kimahri can be just as good as anyone else as you get farther along in the sphere grid. His initial path just sucks. But anyyyyways. Dissidia looks like its going to be alright. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Dynasty Warriors and hack and slash everything. I wouldn't mind if the graphics were a little more...non KH like though.

Yeah, she's ugly, but thats not why. Had i been given Sir Fratley instead that would have owned, but Freya just plain sucks. She was emo about Sir Fratley half the time, she was boring whenever she wasnt being emo since she never had anything interesting or important to say, and she was useless in battle. I've tried on multiple occasions to lvl her up and give her a chance, but each time i realize that she just plain sucks, especially as a dragoon. Even Amarant is more useful in battle than her.

No, you mean you hope it doesnt end up like Gundam Dynasty Warriors xD

Kingdom Hearts style i'm okay with...so long as they dont have ginormous feet. But a style closer to Amano's would be awesome, a more drawn, fluid, artsy style. And if Okami can be made, then i'm sure a style like Amano's could translate into a game. But of course that wont happen cuz Nomura doesnt like Amano (i think he's just jealous because he knows Amano has more talent).

I'd like to see Zidane's double blades too. I don't see why they won't use them though.

Well actually in trailer Zidane's basic weapons are two daggers but when he trances he has double-edged blade.

why's everything going portable all of a sudden? revenant wings on the DS, crisis core and now this on the psp? come on square-enix keep it all on one or 2 systems so the fans dont gotta spend so much money!
