2 New Dissidia Scans - Page 4

I think it's more likely the former than the latter with Bartz. They can't make it so that he can only mimic the other person, as the battle wouldn't work and you wouldn't be controlling him at all. But I can imagine a store system..

Perhaps if the enemy does a special move then Bartz "learns" that move and that becomes his own special move.

Yes Terra will need a large amount of spell-casting, with a fair share of sword slashing. Will be hard to pull off, and I'm really looking forward to how they tackle her. Perhaps that funky Ultima Weapon sword will do her justice. Though I can't remember that weapon myself in that game.

Yup, thats what i think too, lets say Terra casts "Flare/Ultima/Meteor" he learns the move and can either cast it right away or his Ex-Mode is Blue Mage/Mimic, where he can choose one/multiple spells to cast at once, or something like that.

The sword in FFVI is know has "Atma Weapon" but in FFVI Advance its renamed as Ultima Weapon, its an Laser Sword that increases attacks has more HP you have, even if still you don't remember the weapon check here:http://www.spriters-resource.com/squ...kesweapons.png
Its the Blue Laser weapon, third one counting from up.

Ah yes I think I remember that, it's sort of like a light-saber, been a while though. Well.. that will be an interesting sword for Terra to equip. Not sure if they'll go for it though and they'll probably go for an average sword, but that weapon would be good to see.

Hmmm.. I want to know EVERYTHING about this game now... The wait is unbearable. Still, good that everything and good information is coming out fast now though.

Just noticed Sephiroth casting Super Nova on the Scan. Take a close look at his right shoulder, we can also now see that his EX Burst form is the One Winged Angel.

Ruka! You nearly caused me a heartattack of excitement! Good to see some new Dissidia news!

Barbariccia as a summon? That would be rather interesting. I wonder if they'll give us any more of the 4 feinds of the elements.. Cagnazzo perhaps. Rubicante would be good too... Gah screw it, they should give us all 4!

Amazing scans too. Terra and Kefka look AMAZING in battle. I'll be interested to find out what area they are fighting in, though I've heard confirmation that it is either the Magitek Research Facility, or Kefka's Tower.

I see the 3rd scan shows FF1 characters Ex-Modes. Garland donning a white cape (I think such was seen int he gameplay video as well) and Warrior of Light getting a gold sheild and more ornate armour.

Only about a month until it comes out in Japan... so not long to wait to get all final announcements!

EDIT - Just looked over it again... Some nice shots of the characters during cutscenes as well... Dark Knight Cecil with his arm out and back to Golbez (so not fighting him)... Would this mean that at the begining Dark Knight Cecil will be on the side of bad? Or perhaps not, and perhaps he's just preventing someone else from hurting his brother.

The shot with Terra and Onion Knight is great too. Sort of suggests and idea someone else had on this forum that she's grow fond of Onion Knight in a motherly way.

EDIT (AGAIN!) - Just checked the website of Dissidia... Terra and Kefka are now up ont he character pages... Including some pretty awesome screenshots I haven't seen before. A few close ups of Kefka's face, and one awesome one with Terra in the foreground with Kefka suprising her behind her.

WOW! ALSO! The TGS 2008 trailer is up on there!

Yeah I agree the 4 would be awesome, altought I'm still kinda mad Gilgamesh is a summon not a Playable character.

It looks like Magitech Research Facility, but you can also see the Esper Cave in the first trailer, maybe there is a Arena per character?

Maybe both?
He probably is protecing his brother, and wants to settle things with him finally.

I already know that. There is already a thread with the TGS Trailer.

Kinda remembered, each character was summoned here but they all have a story on how they get here, Tidus mentions he was summoned here while he was "Absorbed" by Sin, maybe Golbez and Cecil were summoned when Golbez decided to leave.

Yeah I'm very interested in at excactly what point the characters were sucked from their respective games and into the land of the gods or whatever...

If Tidus came before he was absorbed by sin, does that mean before he even enters Spira? Like after Auron grabs him from Zanarkand and he is absorbed into Sin to begin his story?

Me too... Though they seem to have taken his name off the summons list on final fantasy wikia, so perhaps whether he is a summon or not is called into question... Could be bad if he's not even in it at all, but then again they haven't ruled out secret characters yet (unless my ahort trip abroad REALLY put me behind in the Dissidia news chase), so perhaps Gilgamesh could appear as a playable character after all? He's certainly iconic enough. But that is for dreaming...

About the 4 fiends, they coudl easily put all 4 in the game. They're to have 50 summons anyway, so it's not like it's taking a huge chunk out of available spaces for summons.

Exactly, instead of being summoned to Spira he appeared here, I wonder If Jecht was the same. Like he said to Jecht: "you tricked me" like instead of living his story he was summoned into a conflict between Gods.

That might be it, I hope Gilgamesh appears as a secret character, FF isn't the same without him. And speaking of which I'm sure you would love Uncle Ulty to be a Summon.

Yeah, however summons aren't much worth I guess... unless there is a summon which can be very powerful/useful, not "support items".
