Unrequited Love...
Okay...I'm finally posting it on here.
I've been thinking about it for -TOO- long by myself, if I try to figure it out by myself any longer, I'll go insane. >.>
So here it is.
I've liked this guy...for 4 full months, going on 5. (Since February this year).
I mean, you might think it's strange to like a guy for such a long time, but not do anything about it - like TELL him I like him, or ask him out, etc...
But I'm one of those people who WAIT to make sure of myself that I actually DO like him, and that it's not just lust or anything.
He's really an amazing guy.
He works part-time ...for my FATHER.
Yes, the situation gets more complicated...>_<
He is also a grade older than me...
Not that it really matters - I'm just mentioning it, if it's any help. =P
ANYWAY, I've never noticed him at school, until my dad introduced the two of us when he was working...
And GAWD, he was gorgeous. XD~
Okay, well...after about a week or so, I finally realized that I had an 'interest' in him...
So I decided to pursue that thought.
And that 'interest' turned into a genuine feeling.
Since then, whenever I was at school, I'd look around, and hope that I'd run into him.
Kinda childish, and weird, I know.
Well, whenever I DID run into him, we looked at each other for a while, then I did a crazy blushing thing, then we'd look away.
This STILL goes on, to this day...
Thing is though, we're both introverted...
And we don't...we don't like talking, unless we're talked to.
And it's even harder for ME, when I actually LIKE the guy.
Also, amazing, as fate would have it, every opportunity that comes my way, it involves him.
I don't know if it's a sign or not - but I'm certainly not complaining. :P
There's another thing.
A couple of my closest friends know that I like him.
And I don't know if they're just trying to make me feel happy or not, (or hopeful), but they say (whenever we're all together) that when he passes by, he looks at me.
...Unfortunately though, they all make fun of him and me for that...saying that he's some creepy stalker. XD;;
Oh well.
Any advice or help would be GREATLY appreciated.
(By the way...we have very FEW things in common...our similar taste in music, and he "KINDA" likes Final Fantasy. So...I don't know where to start.)

I went through this at high achool, sadly the feeling wasnt returned and we were friends untill he left, he was a year above me. I havent seen him since ...
My advice is really to try and talk to him, you need to make communication with each other. Next time you see him, say "Hi!" or "How are you?", get the ball rolling and it can lead into a bigger conversation. If he looks your way, it shows there maybe some interest there or maybe he wishes to talk back to you. If he didnt want to bother with you, he wouldnt look in your direction.
As for your friends teasing you, ignore it. They are most probably jealous cause they may see him as being interested in you and not them! Some friends would rather their friends have no attention at all if it means they dont get any.
Just be yourself and chat to him, even though you blush. You cant stop blushing and just be natural. Good luck to you x

Ah...
Thanks :3
But like, it's really strange.
I've told myself for the past 2 to 3 weeks now, that if I were to ever pass by him, I'll definitely say hi...
But everytime I -DID- see him, I never said anything.
My friends nudged me and coughed aloud, but...
I couldn't do it XD...
Too shy.
But I -SWEAR-, I REALLY will say Hi...or something. ^^"
Let's see how it progresses from there...>.>

Hmm, that's pretty long...and you haven't confessed your feelings yet? Well, not that I can blame you. I'm shy as well, and I definitely wouldn't take the initiative and straight out tell the guy that I like him.
And I assume that this guy likes you too, correct? Well, seems like he's shy as well, so that certainly doesn't help the situation. It's all up to you though. My suggestion is that you two become friends first...and in order to do that, you have to get pass the "hi and hello" stuff. =/ It's not that hard to do, really...don't make it seem like it's forced too. Say it naturally and go from there. Hopefully, things will go smooth.
You guys can always talk about Final Fantasy! Hah, make him join this site too. And then he'd probably stumble upon this thread and...
Okay, I'll shut up for now. =)

I could've sworn I'd heard this same thing before...if you know what I mean.
Actually, I have the same exact problem right now.
I like this girl but have never actually gotten the heart, i.e. I'm being a chicken, to talk to her. =\
But really, like Mitsuki suggested, it's always best to start off with a quick hi or hello and eventually it will develop. Think of it as watering plants, it only grows if you care for it, and if you do, most likely it will grow.
I hope that makes sense.

If you like the guy tell him, worst case scenario he won't return your feelings but that is not the end of the world, but from your description it does sound like he is interested but just is'nt brave enough to act on it.

XD Practise, Clyde?
...With a stuffed bunny?
Hardly the same thing...but...I'll try.
And like, I tell myself, "Okay, this is DEFINITELY the day I will say hi..." then when I see him, I walk in the OPPOSITE direction.
What is WRONG with me?
And UPDATE to this sad, pathetic dilemma:
A guy I've known for about a week, asked me out, took me to dinner, and to the movies.
He confessed that he felt that this was strange to him as well, but it just kinda STRUCK him that he liked me.
Problem is, he's older.
...By 5 years...
And I'm not of legal age yet.
He's an awesome person, but with this unrequited love I have, I don't know what to do.
I thought to myself, I can't wait forever.
So...I'm wondering whether to give him a chance or not.
HMM...

you know when you're say 20, its normal for a 20 yr old to go out with a 25 yr old... when your older, the 5 year difference is nothing.
