I think they are waiting to make a 514 years after the game to make a movie or something for red 13 since he is the only alive at that time lol.

I hated that about DoC and expecially Advent Children. When Cait Sith gets more lines than Red XIII, ya know somethings not right. If I could change one thing about any of DoC or AC, it'd be more shots and lines for Red.
I did hear though that they didn't show much of him on screen because his character was teh hardest to protray graphics-wise without making it look too real and out of proportion from the rest of the characters.

i also heard about he fur rendering. but i actually liked cait siths accent so i don't really mind about him speaking more. plus red xiii was the worlds first emo dog

Hmm. I have to say, I think RedXIII deserved a larger part than Cait but Cait is Reeve so thats why. He should of Talked atleast in DoC because all the other characters get a part. I think maybe they just thought they'd show him to show he's there, but not let him talk because they just couldn't be bothered or didn't know what to give him to say?

I dont know why he didnt talk in DoC but he should have had atleast one line to say it was so weird how he didnt have one.But I do think it was because of the problem with the fur rendering.

I have no Idea, He only talked once in AC, maybe it's harder to make him talk and look realistic he's a dog after all so it kinda would be hard.

he is a animal DUH!!!!!!!!!!animals shoildnt talk its weird.anf it costs a lot of mony to animate red.and hes a small supporting background person.HE DESERVES TO BE POATCHED!!!!!!!!!!i hate him he takes the spotlite off of vincvent!and for tht he should be put in a cage!

I tihnk it should have been Red who spoke to Vincent on the phone instead of Cloud. That would be awesome, a dog speaking to a fully grown man... over a cell phone.
Other than that I dont think they made Red talk because there was nowhere for him to actually have to talk
