The mysterious benefactor
I'm talking about the scene where Reeve tells Vince about how the WRO is being funded.

I just wondered your thoughts on who this mysterious benefactor could be?

I'm pretty sure it must be Rufus as he did kind of come around in AC. And if anyone owes the planet, it's him.

It is Rufus. In the walkthrough where it talks about Reeve, it states,

"Reeve pretends to not know who his finacial backers are, but fans from Advent Children know to expect it to be Rufus Shinra, the shamed son of the former Shinra President."

....hmm.... hes the head of Shinra... the biggest company in the world. what more is there to say. true the company has been pretty much wiped out with sephiroth and all. but a guy like that, he would still have a far amount of cash up his sleeve. 'specally compared to pretty much everyone. and besides you dont know, since AC he may have come up with some other business idea that he is making money from.
