I HATE LURIC! she is a complete ho! :( she should of stayed with hojo other than "fallen" for Vincent.

I never actually thought of them as married. I thought it was just a one night stand for the birth of Sephiroth and injecting the Jenova cells into Lucrecia's womb to see how Sephiroth would turn out.

And the thought of them being married ... the thought of being married to someone like Hojo just creeps me out. He was a creep as well.

Lucrecia was referred to as Dr. Crescent before any relationship with Hojo. Ergo, that's her last name. However, she could still easily be married to Hojo, and keep her last name of Crescent. It's actually a common thing to do, when both members of a couple are in professional fields.

See, once you have written a paper or thesis that's been submitted to your field, you have to keep your last name. If you don't keep the last name your thesis or paper is written under, you lose the credit for that paper, basically.

Otherwise, if Lucrecia did marry Hojo, then changed her name, she would have lost all credit in her field for her papers written under her previous name of "Crescent." So, it makes sense that if she did marry Hojo, she'd keep her own last name. *shrug*

Hojo got her drunk one night at the local boozer and persuaded her to 'do it in the name of science'. I mean c'mon, Lucrecia is nuff hott! why would she marry a dirty old psycho like Hojo?

My biggest question about the game however is what the hell is Grimore Valentines role in the story really? Vincents daddy eh? umm ok....more on that please K thanks?

well i don't know if they were married, but they had a kid together... *cough* sephiroth *cough* well yeah they may have been couldn't they if they had him

Um i read somewhere that made a reference to Lucrecia as Hojo's wife. Sorry cant remeber where, possibly a translation of the Ultima whats-ya-ma-call-it *memory fogs up again, bangs head to get better reception*. Plus a note on her keeping her maiden name, it is quite common, 'specally in eastern cultures to do so. Just another reason i thought of. But i mean personally how could you bring yourself to do that. Considering she must of had a serious confict of intrest with herself. if that makes sense.

There not married they just used Lucrecia for the Sephiroth Project or whatever the name of the expirement was called. I doubt they even had relations. Sephiroth is probably just a test-tube baby xD

I think they mentioned Vince's dad in the story cause we all know how Lucrecia claims she stook with Vince because she felt guilty about his father's death, or am I on a completely nut-rant here? =\

ummm... that doesn't stop the fact that Lucricia and Hojo were married does it? i mean they probably were weren't they?

but there was that cut scene in DoC where plainly states the she 'choses' Hojo over Vincent. I think you see her run into Hojo's arms and he says something along the lines of "So you have come to your senses and chosen me." i dont know how other interpreted it. but i got a clear indecation that she and Hojo formed a relationship beyong being mere co-workers. Even if Hojo is a complete scumbag and she was insane to choice him over vincent. i certainly wouldnt in a million years.
