i have played 5 times through but i always have max of all items and all i need is ultima weapon and the item at the long line of lazer barriers in one of the levels (i think it is the super speed one?)

Yeah, I didn't find this game much of a challenge after a few times playing through either, if you remember to keep a Phoenix Down equipped and stash enough Gil away for emergency Potion buying you're all good...I still haven't acquired the Ultima Weapon though, I just don't think it's worth the trouble, if one day I get really bored and decide to play through it again, I might give it a go...
