AAAARGH my computer lost sound as of a couple of weeks ago, so I hears nothing. That sucks totally, I want to hear the new VA!!!
Phew that it's not Mena though. Wonder why imdb got it wrong, it's usually so reliable!! Oh well, I'm glad to be wrong this time!!!

I'm guessing that IMDB just assumed that Mena was going to be the VA for Aerith in CC, since she was in KH and AC.
I really like the new girl though, she sounds much better

I just listened to it on my mum's laptop- it does sound familiar. In fact it sounds like it could be either one of the Yuffie (Christy Carlson Romano, Mae Whitman) VAs or possibly even Tara Strong. In fact it sounds a hell of a lot like Tara!! But I can't find anything on the net to verify who it is, so I'm really stuck!!

We won't know for sure until the game gets released, it doesn't sound like anyone else already used in FF...It could be a brand new person But regardless, I think they finally picked the best VA for Aerith.

Yeah Aerith's new VA has more emotion than Mena. Although after watching AC a few time and playing KH2 I kinda got used to Mena lol. But her new one is cute! I was actually wondering how they were gonna pronounce Aerith's name, from what I heard, it sounded like she said "Erin"
Cloud' VAis good too, Glad they didn't use the same voice from AC, Cloud's supposed to be 16 in CC right?
Which means I can crush on him and it wouldn't be illegal, WOO HOO!!

No, it's pronounced Aer-ith with a TH sound, just like Sephiroth. If you listen to the Japanese version they call Sephiroth Sephiros with an S. Same goes for Aerith. I think that's where the mispelling of her name came about in the first game. But it is pronounced with a TH. It's not pronounced Erin.

They used the same VA for Cloud in CC, Steve Burton, as they did in Advent Children. If you didn't recognize it as the same person, that means he did a good job in sounding younger.. Now onto my exciting news..
ENGLISH GENESIS VID: Yes! we now officially have a vid of Genesis with his English VA. It doesn't sound like a vampire thank goodness! See for yourself!

Also, it seems that some people have gotten their hands on a copy of the English version way ahead of time, so if you go to youtube you can also find the opening of CC in English and who knows what else.
The VA for Aerith has been listed on Game Faqs as Andrea Bowen. She played the girl with the moogle doll in Advent Children, so that's why she sounded familiar Miss Valentine. She also apparently is on the show the Desperate Housewives. They have also listed Genesis' VA as Oliver Quinn, so it seems they replaced Downes as well.
Wow, I just keep finding out more stuff by the minute! Apparently the English version inserted spoken dialogue in one of the scenes where there was only text-based dialogue in the Japanese. So far that's only in one scene, but who knows? Maybe Rachel Leigh Cook did get to play Tifa in this game afterall..

I really want to watch the stuff on YouTube, I'll have to convince my mum to let me watch it on her computer 
I'm so glad they replaced Mena Suvari, I'm playing KH2 at the moment and I can't stand it! She sounds worse on that than on AC!! *cringes*
And yeah, thank god no Vampiric stuff. Did Gackt do the voice in CC over in Japan? It's a shame he couldn't learn English because he has a cool voice
