Yeah, I was laying in my bed last night and remember DoC, and how messed up the plot was. Final Fantasy VII with all this Omega/Chaos crap that the game could do perfectly without. And G.. What the fuck was up with G. C'mon! The FFVII plot is confusing enough as it is, why add pointless shit to mess with the players minds?
So just PLEASE! Just add on to the plot of FFVII, and ONLY FFVII. Just tie up the loose ends, and leave it at that. For the love of God, just leave G, Chaos/Omega and Gackt (First mistake there).
*Sigh* I know I'm gonna get flamed for this...

G is an important part to this storyline and obviously was a creation before DoC considering he has been shown in the trailers for this game. This game is to tie up loose ends. DoC was created soley for Vincent and to learn about who he is and his past. Omega was just part of another plan to destroy the planet. Chaos was something that was used on Vincent during his experiements. If you actually played FFVII you'd know that and you'd know that Chaos was relevant for DoC.

I honestly don't like the Angeal & G thing. It takes away from Cloud... and, as much as I hate making this reference, it gives FFVII a Star Wars type feel. Not by it being futuristic... but by having generation after generation fight the same "type" of evil. It's annoying, not clever.

I've played FFVII before, and I sometimes used Vincent, thing is how the hell were the gamers supposed to figure out that his Limit Break would be some super ahnialation (sp, I know) creation of mass destruction? It sucked in the game compared to others, like Barret, Cid, Tifa, Yuffie, well.. The only person who probably had worse Limits were Red XIII, Aerith and anyone who didn't have a multiple striking limit.
But then we find out in Doc that, nope, it's actually one of the strongest things ever to be created. Yeah, Square really showed that in the game. Wow.

Well thats why they made DoC - to explain just that  tying up yet more loose ends XD
And Aerith had a weak limit break? you should check out Great Gospel sometime - strongest of the lot XD
And i like all these new people there adding in - makes it less stale so its not just about Zack its about these new people too  and havn't we seen enough of cloud already?

I could go with less Cloud, but we dont know much about Zack as it is other than he was confused with Cloud (or something, I haven't played the game in a year). Why can't they just expand on the relationship between Zack and Aerith? I think a game showing their past and their relationship only, would just be so kick ass.

They are doing that, but you can't forget that Zack was a First Class Soldier. You can't expect him to do nothing 'kickass'

yeah and anywhay I know its irrelevant but I am not botherd by the fact Genesis will be stronger than cloud because the following characters are already more powerful than Cloud:
Sephiroth
Omega Weiss
Chaos Vincent
Genesis(prob now him)
